Namely, it must be something that:
- has a popular association with being difficult/challenging (which MAY be played up to some degree)
- despite the air of difficulty, it is still held in high regards by most people
- is extremely influential
- the jank is part of the appeal
- has some aspect that feels comprable to a poison swamp. Make of that what you will
Throatfucking
Only aspect I think this outright fails on is being "extremely influential", as I don't think anyone really needed the help figuring out that going Full Wienermode on a thrussy feels frankly epic. Otherwise it definitely scores as being difficult (for the throatfuckee in most situations, and can be challenging for throatfucker given angle of approach) and absolutely produces sounds analogous to those encountered in a poison swamp scenario
Stuck Sex
ABSOLUTELY hits the "influential" and "popular" marks, as thousands of scenarios about the surprising restrictive properties of the common clothes drier can attest to. Also I think the restriction of movement is sufficiently poison-swampy. Fails on the "difficulty" aspect, since a core element is ease-of-access for at least one party.
Shibari
Genuinely challenging, held in high regard, influential, and lots of potential on the poison-swamp angle. Fails with regards to "jank", as I think janky execution is directly antithetical to what is primarily an aesthetically-focused sex act.
I was about to give up on this and throw it to the floor, but I think I've got a pretty good candidate here at the 11th hour:
Cosplay Sex
Undoubtedly held in high regard, but with an understatedly high level of difficulty - convincing cosplay is a challenge in its own right, and "solving" a cosplay for access to holes, cheeks, tits, pits, feet, and so on is basically nightmare mode before you even start to CONSIDER makeup or prosthetics. There's also the added difficulty of maintaining a character throughout. Some jank is pretty much a given with any cosplay, and is extra inevitable when adding sex moves that were absolutely not allowed for in a character's design. I believe the "poison swamp" aspect comes into play when considering the utter morass of costume components, adhesives, foundation, paint, and assorted bodily fluids awaiting all parties in the aftermath.
I yield the balance of my time.
