don't call it that, don't accept that terminology. don't participate in a project of mystification.
it's just glorified Markov chains burning absurd amounts of parallel compute power to run on a very large data set to which they probably don't really have usage rights in the first place, at a speed that "feels" fast enough for "conversation" to humans.
