I tried to order the first four trade paperback volumes of Kill Six Billion Demons from a local independent bookstore, whose website said they were available to add to my cart but might be on order from the publisher for a while (that's fine, I don't need them, like, tomorrow or whatever). Instead, I got an email saying they couldn't get them, maybe because Image (K6BD's publisher) is in the middle of switching distributors; but only "maybe". The copy of Kate Beaton's Ducks I also ordered is in stock, though!
The ~internet age~ continues to be a real bust.
