Cohost is one of the websites on the internet. Many people use Cohost to share information online in the form of posts, or "Chosts". There are many different types of posts on cohost, ranging from text, image, embedded, and CSS. Users of Cohost can interact with the posts by liking or rechosting them, to share them with their audience and spread them on the website. These are some of the many reasons why you might want to check out Cohost if you are interested in websites.

Best Cohost Posting Practices

As a social media website on the internet, Cohost uses something known as a "Sorting Algorithm" to decide which posts to show the user. In layman's terms, the "Sorting Algorithm" is a computer program that follows a strict set of rules to rank posts from number 1 to number 100 (on some more advanced websites, this number can be higher). Non-tech savvy people might be worried that this makes Cohost very complicated to use, but thankfully, we at @Swords have done extensive tests to determine the best way to post on Cohost to make sure you get the highest possible user engagement and content penetration possible on the platform.

Due to the peculiar way Cohost's "Sorting Algorithm" works, the best way to make sure your post appears on top of your audience's timelines is to post it right now. This is an easy "hack" that makes sure your post gets selected as one of the top 10 posts for your audience. Conversely, choosing to post your chost in the past (for example yesterday, or a week ago) seems to result in your content getting buried as far back as #100. As you can see, posting a chost now seems to be at least 10x more effective when comparing it to posting your chost in the past, which is less effective. As far as we have determined, this is the best way to reach your audience on Cohost as of 2022.

So, there you have it! in reply to @swords's post:

To my knowledge, posting in the future removes the post from the user's pages entirely. If this is true, it is ∞× more effective to copost either in the present or past to reach your userbase.

So, I know this is all tongue-in-cheek, but honestly I might subscribe to cohost plus for a "scheduled posts" feature. I've got six posts sitting in drafts that I plan to post at the rate of about one-per-day over the next week or so (and one more in the series that I might write a rough draft of tonight). I'm sure I'll forget to do that at least once this week.

But I also am likely to subscribe to cohost plus shortly anyway, so the incentive isn't there.
