Having trash from a millennia ago unearthed and studied makes me wonder what future historians will think of the trash we make today.
The book in question is Sacred Trash: The Lost and Found World of the Cairo Geniza by Adina Hoffman and Peter Cole. It seems like a pretty interesting read.
