Put 'em on a separate layer, draw on top of them, move 'em around, scale 'em, erase 'em if you have to, but PLEASE put your refs on your canvas it makes things so much easier.
I use this app called vizref
It's amazing for this exact thing! You can host as many gifs/images as you want, organize your canvases for easy reference, I use it often even when I'm doing physical art, it's incredibly useful to me for moodboards too!
Yo does anybody know how to download the beta version of their latest update? I saw this and was amazed at what it could do, but then i dropped some color sensitive work with custom .icc profiles and colors are way off, rendering it useless for my use case :( All i found where forum posts mentioning their latest beta had this feature included https://www.pureref.com/forum/read.php?3,2501
But i can't find it anywhere. and at least their personal 2.0.0 version does not have the feature (Or i can find where to toggle it on 
)
