i wouldnt call this a "treasure" per se, just a great example of a funny old ad. (i'm looking through archive.org's argosy magazine collection this evening and mostly looking at the ads)
campbells soup: for when you want a "dainty little luncheon" but you have ONLY ONE MAID. or even no help at all!
the phrase "these excellent soups" also really tickles me, as does the larger context of the assertion that these excellent soups will simplify my household problems. just an all-around slam dunk of an ad for soup.

I had to look up like half a dozen of these soups and I'm now mad at the French ones for trying to pass off various variations of watery proteinless soup as anything else other than a waste of stock
