My strong suggestion is to keep an eye out for co-op bundles. It's not much in the way of income but it'll probably be enough of a trickle to get you over the line.
Thank you! I participated in one fund-raising bundle, and it was a good experience, but hadn't thought much beyond that.
Could you elaborate a little on what you mean by 'held by the finance people?' have you initiated a payout yet?
I typically initiate payouts around $50 but have done some as low as $20 before with no issue so I don't think there is a minimum threshold in that sense.
I don’t recall why, but I set my itch account to payout through Payoneer, which is where the loot, currently about $20 maybe, currently sits. The $50 I mentioned is, indeed, the threshold Payoneer implied I need to meet to get them to release the funds. And that’s what I’d like to do—sell enough more on itch to both payout there & pass the money through Payoneer to me. I said $100 because I’m pretty sure that’s enough, but from my POV whatever amount is enough, maybe as little as $30 or so, is actually enough. The scale I’m operating at for this is minuscule, I know, and I’m slightly embarrassed to find I have put myself in this position. I don’t want a lot of money, just enough to make it worth Payoneer’s time to send it to me & then I can be done with money on itch. 🤷🏼♂️
Ah, I didn't realise Payoneer have a $50 minimum, I use PayPal for payouts which doesn't seem to have a minimum threshold.
It's too small a mistake for me to feel bad about, but I wouldn't recommend Payoneer for the ordinary itch user, and certainly not for someone like me, whose scale is so, so small.
