"The Direction of Clocks" is a 7710 word novella about accountability, suicidality, time dilation, isolation, and inter-generational lesbian community, and may very well be the creative work I am most proud of. It is the product of countless revisions over the course of more than three years, and something I poured my heart and soul into.

And I just found out that it's one of twenty-one novellas eligible for the 2022 Clarkesworld Poll!

If you read "The Direction of Clocks" and think it deserves a vote, or are interested in what I described above and wanted to check it out, both of those would be incredibly appreciated.

You can read "The Direction of Clocks" here or listen to the audio version on the Clarkesworld website or podcast.

It addresses some themes of community and accountability that I think have also been popular topics of discussion as the culture of cohost forms, and I hope that y'all might get something out of it. Thank you for the consideration!

Update for SFWA members: today is the last day to nominate for the 2022 Nebula Awards, and "The Direction of Clocks", is eligible!

consider giving it a read if you haven't, and a nomination if you have! it is my first fiction publication, and i'd be honored.
