Wow, looks like it's been a minute since I did one of these!
I love Bandcamp Friday--it's an opportunity to find and share music on a day when the artist get paid fully for their work. Here's some of the highlights from the past couple of months.
I'm linking directly to favorite songs but listen to the whole albums!
This album is so, so good, and I've been listening to it regularly since @mumil recommended it a few months back. Paul Murphy is a poet.
I feel like 2Mello gets a lot of good press around here already, but this is great music for background tasks for me. A lot of the music I tend to like best is very lyric-forward and attention grabbing so I can't work or read with it on. This fills that niche for me.
Seeming has consumed most of my musical attention these past few months. They paint with bold brushstrokes, angry and despairing and hopeful, with a wild range of styles across the albums I've listened to.
See? I love this song. What sets your soul on fire? is sticking in my head hard lately, and I feel it destabilizing my life. Wildly confident; sometimes Feral.
