Some things I like in no particular order: board games, video games, mechanical keyboards, automating stuff with amateur level python, my cat Tabitha, science fiction and fantasy novels, live music but only if I already know the songs

To discover an old album from my favorite band called Devil on the Shortwave a few days after being so touched by We Know the Devil? That's serendipity bay-bee.

@yrgirlkv and i have a new series which premieres today!

THE DEVIL WE KNOW follows us as we play through the incredible visual novel We Know the Devil, where Juliet is entirely new to the game, but to be frank knows christianity and the devil all too well; whereas Kavi has played the game before but is free from such burdens. It's a wild time! We constantly learn new things!

edit for the pin: the whole series on YouTube is now available in this link!

I just played We Know The Devil in one go last night, and then I found this really great let's play of it after looking for people talking about it on cohost.

It's a beautiful and charming and touching game. It resonates with my own fundamentalist Christian upbringing and the ongoing process of trying to learn not to hate myself and how to connect with other people since.

And the YouTube series is a great exploration and analysis of the game, and has so far been a good way to process and savor the story after the fact.

The game is like $3 for the next week or two, and it's definitely worth your time.

Spoilers for the entire game after the More Inside link. The game is absolutely worth experiencing for yourself first, whether you're playing it or watching the Let's Play above. This is just me explaining why the end of the game moves me to tears.
