i went over to the house today to do the final big sort of jonations and dunk-- let me take that again, donations and junk at mom's house and i knew it was gonna be a long one, so i took Tia with me. this was her second meeting with Charlie, who will be her new roommate by the end of next month.their relationship status is currently tsundere, leaning heavily tsun on both sides. they did trauma bond over hatred of the vacuum cleaner (ran and hid in the same room) and despite a lot of exchanges of VERY unkind words, we kept finding them hanging out either three feet apart, or in separate windows in the same room... and at one point when we were outside working in the shed, mom went back in and they were both sitting in the door waiting for the humans to come back LOLdespite her many complaints about Charlie being Another Cat?! and Too There, Tia did not want to go back into her carrier to go home. (this is unusual, she likes her carrier and goes into it on command. i trained her to do it by accident. i started stuffing her in there and giving her treats so i could bring groceries in and put them away without her running out the door or tripping me and now she just... likes the carrier.)i think once they get over themselves they will be good pals. they are just bitches (we love and support these bitches)

money doesn't go as far as it should. groceries are getting way more expensive than they should be, and it fuckin sucks. a normal dozen eggs was fucking $7 when i last went shopping. the enriched eggs with additives like Omega-3 were even more expensive. it's stupid here. on top of that, i'm forced to be picky about what i do or don't eat because i lost all my teeth a few years ago, so i can't always buy the cheapest calorie-packed foods either.

so that's why i need help again.
