Maybe the ads are trying to get you buy them for your friends, to help wean them off the potty and back into proper, thicker pamps?
That's the only explanation I can think of that makes any amount of sense!
The truth is, pull-ups are just a different kind of diaper. An alternative to the norm aimed at a different audience.
