I'd say the first anime con in a decade was successful.
I went to a sanshin performance and attended a lecture on Buddhist themes in an anime that I'm definitely going to watch.
I managed to resist the urge to buy gunpla (I am only allowing myself to buy more when I finish my current project).
And I saw lots of people in fun outfits :)
I think next time I wanna go with a group since that seems like the best way to experience these things.
