What did I do with all the tomatoes I harvested? Obviously I made a super duper simple pasta sauce! It couldn't be more simple. You just cook up some garlic and basil, then pour in some water and throw in the tomatoes. Eventually they break down and you can pass them through a sieve. You end up with an impossibly bright and flavorful tomato sauce with almost no effort!
I was able to buy some guanciale from a local Italian deli, so I made all'amatriciana! Imagine like... Bacon pasta. It's not exactly that but it's pretty close. I absolutely loved this and I'm so glad I got to make this :)
