In case you don't know what Extra Life is, it's a gaming charity benefiting childrens' hospitals. You play games while streaming or in person and you receive donations. These go to childrens' hospitals that are local to the players (meaning you're giving money to local institutions).
My D&D group, Uppies Squad, has been doing Extra Life streams for 3 years now and we've raised over $4000! We play D&D for 12 hours straight, broadcast on Twitch! No one is required to donate, since this is all just for fun. But if you want to donate it would benefit a good cause.
This year is set to happen on Nov 4! I'll be doing some streaming over the next two weeks to promote it so keep an eye out for that! I'll share more information including an Extra Life event link as the date gets closer!
