Boy howdy I'm not a fan so far. The unnecessary CGI effects that try to add action in the background (like a crocodile attacking a bird) are really obvious and distracting. And the whole movie feels really fake. Like the whole thing was filmed in green screen (which it probably was). When they're actually in physical sets it looks great.
The dialogue feels really forced and stilted. And Gal Gadot's constantly fading and reappearing accent is SUPER distracting.
I had a ton of fun with A Haunting in Venice last month so I expected similar enjoyment. But Death on the Nile really isn't clicking. I'll finish it tomorrow at least!
