Mm, yes, a very chill and normal movie that my dad took me to see when I was 9.

Meanwhile my mom was so scared of The Mummy (with Brendan Fraser) that she turned off the movie for us when the sun started to go down.
Knowing my dad’s tastes, I think he just thought it was a sci-fi action movie. It’s really the only “oh I should NOT be seeing this” movie I saw as a kid.
Are pulpy, serial adventure movies with hunky heroes too stimulating for teen Snazzy? 🤔

its a shame I have two people in my tabletop normal group that play ffxiv, because the Alexander raids could be interesting given the right context....
I keep thinking about watching Event Horizon every October but never get around to it
