Gundam SD G Generation Cross Ray was pretty solid as a very hard tactical game.
In the same way that a lot of people like to say Galaxy Quest is their favorite "Star Trek" movie, would you be able to look at things like Armored Core 6 as potentially good "Gundam" games?
Depends on what you are looking for but I loved Gundam Breaker 3. New Gundam Breaker (4) was absolute garbage.
G-Evo is (as of writing since it shuts down in a month) an excellent hero shooter, and ExVS2 OverBoost hit JP arcades back in June.
