I really hate writing job applications. I hate evaluating myself and my accomplishments.
But I would like to just move forward and work elsewhere.

No, no they are not. :C talking about yourself is HARD, because you don't want to come off as bragging and egotistical, even if you can back it up. and that's what job apps want you to do.
job applications are literally soul destroying. im trying to get a non-terrible non-retail job right now and it sucks

Feelin' the heck outta that. Trying to get in with another job, I probably have a really good chance, but every step on the road is a fresh pain in the butt.
For real, same. >.> Like it's so bizarre having to go like "okay what are all my cool achievements and accomplishments?" and then balance that with "okay, what achievements and accomplishments are they hoping I have?" It's a sales pitch and I'm not good at sales. >.>
