I like the idea of building Lego and having parts to do unique builds with. But I don't like the idea of having to take apart the sets I like to do it! So I picked up some used Lego. I finished sorting through everything today to break all the pieces apart and get rid of any trash. Tomorrow I'm going to wash them!

Also apparently this set literally had 90% of an X-Wing included. Once I get all this stuff sorted and organized, I'll see if the wings can be cobbled together. Apparently just the ship alone sells for about $40, which basically pays for this whole box!

I'm very fortunate that I don't care about Star Wars Lego stuff or I would be financially ruined.

I haven't actually done IRL D&D in a long time! But I already have a bunch of terrain made of foam and cardboard for that! I mainly want this stuff for MOCs and playing around

It's so hard to get groups physically together thesedays 😭 TabletopSimulator is the closest real-life experience I've had in many years xD Keep us updated on things you build! 🔨

Oh totally, it works for sure! I've just been lucky enough to have had an rl-group for a long time, and every session was like a festive event. We'd be playing for like 15 hours or longer, with a huge pot of chili always at the ready, snacks, in-person-silliness... In a way we celebrated the sessions more than I do holidays thesedays. Definitely missing that time 😅 Currently running a Rogue Trader campaign on Roll20 though and it's a blast! Definitely has upsides ^^
