I like the idea of building Lego and having parts to do unique builds with. But I don't like the idea of having to take apart the sets I like to do it! So I picked up some used Lego. I finished sorting through everything today to break all the pieces apart and get rid of any trash. Tomorrow I'm going to wash them!
Also apparently this set literally had 90% of an X-Wing included. Once I get all this stuff sorted and organized, I'll see if the wings can be cobbled together. Apparently just the ship alone sells for about $40, which basically pays for this whole box!
I'm very fortunate that I don't care about Star Wars Lego stuff or I would be financially ruined.
I cleaned and sorted the Lego! It took a long time but overall it wasn't too bad! The pieces all cleaned up really nicely. It turns out there's some rare parts in here too! If I can pick up a few more lots like this I can get a better storage configuration and probably make it worthwhile to sell some of the more expensive parts on Bricklink.
