Gender-fluid, asexual, >21
Hi! You can call me Key, or Gem, or Scarf, or something else!
This is my main page, and prior to Dec 8th, 2023, my posts were all on this page. Posts before that date range in subject matter from furry transformation to foam dart blaster reviews, but now I have separate pages for a few of these categories.
For gamedev and other game design talk, check out @DevGem.
To be inundated by the relentless furryposting of a TF-obsessed magic-user, visit @MagicScarf.
If you like toys, or if you’re bored, give @CollectorKey a look.
I’m asexual, and also very gender-fluid, so don’t worry too much about pronouns.

The original Gallery of Names post

There’s been a bit of an update regarding my identity so I wanted to actually update my cohost to reflect that. However, I will leave the original post going over my identity as it is, because I believe it is still a perfectly viable way to talk about the same thing, that thing being myself. Both this post and that one can simultaneously be valuable, worthwhile, and even true, despite seemingly contradicting one another. For example, I used to say that I am not plural, but in this post I will say that I am. Even so, both sides are true in their own ways, because human identity is more complicated than simple binaries.

Oh I guess that was kind of a spoiler, uh, I’m plural! Which is to say, I have, for the past few weeks, been using that lens to think and talk about my identity. I’ve been treating my “names” more like “headmates”, referring to them as separate entities (though I still like calling them “names”, I just think it’s cool idk. They don’t seem to mind) and even having them talk to each other and whatnot. They’re all still me, and I’m still all of them, but thinking of them as multiple entities just lets me think about things in new ways and is generally freeing.

The crux of what I believe with regards to this is this: People feel and act and are different and different times. For me, treating those differences as “headmates” is a new way to get at the same thing. To be clear, I still do not experience certain things like strong shifts in preferences or separate sets of memories. All of my names/headmates are asexual and probably all think tf is really hot, too.

Speaking of which, it’s nice in rp-type stuff to be able to “play multiple characters”, not necessarily at once, but just… in general… It means I can say “oh this name can use magic but this other one can’t” and that type of thing. It’s neat!

Anyways yeah I’m at like… 50ish names… I think…? So the gallery’s a little out of date. It already was pretty out of date just from the artstyle alone, though.

Oh, my system name is “Refractive Geode”, by the way! And also I still identify as genderfluid. Thanks for reading!

RaziiBerri
@RaziiBerri asked:

Rank your top TFs in a either 5 or 10 tier ? Am curious :3

Not 100% sure how to interpret this ask so I’m just gonna list some forms that I really really love!

  • Animals: Raccoon (my favorite animal!), snow leopard (my second favorite animal! Happy sneptember hehe), fox, wolf, bunny, cat, etc! Things like feathers and hooves that did not appear in that list are cool too and I’ve enjoyed having them before but I definitely prefer the fur and paws overall
  • Pokémon: Luxray (my favorite Pokémon!), Eevee, Lopunny, Zorua, etc!
  • Gender: There’s a bajillion genders, like goth, and maid, and clown. Also, uh, “girl”, or… I think there’s another one… anyways getting my aesthetic switched up can be a lot of fun!
  • Inanimate (but not really): I love being a human-sized living plushie, I used to not like plushie tf but it’s become one of my favorite kinds of tf in recent months! And there’s so many possible forms there, any of the previously listed forms can also be plushie versions…
  • Inanimate (but actually (kind of?)): This isn’t a huge one but I wanna put in a good word for it because it’s a lot of fun and I want to put the idea in people’s heads. Turning into clothing, but still conscious, able to communicate telepathically with the wearer. I get to be a sick-ass outfit, hang out with a friend without having to move or do anything, and just… infodump directly into their mind. Endlessly. About anything I want. What are they gonna do? Take me off? Hahaha p-please don’t

Anyways this ended up being longer than I expected! And hey there are five bullet points! Thanks so much for the ask :)

terrigenoussentiments
@terrigenoussentiments asked:

what names are least worn?

I was really about to delve into my DMs with various people on Discord and gather metrics about how how many times each name has been used over how long of a period (which would inevitably reveal Acacia and Crystal and probably others I’ve only been once as my least-used) and give you an absurdly in-depth answer.

Then I realized I don’t have to do that!

Because, you see, there are a few names I have saved up that I haven’t gotten to use just yet. For whatever reason the time just hasn’t been right for them. I think going over those names and what they’ll be for will be much more interesting that all that shit I was originally gonna do, so uh, here goes!

  • Bromine: I’m not 100% sure what Bromine will be about, but the namesake is a really cool element, and I could use another red-themed name. I think Bromine might be more traditionally masculine, making this my first name to specifically and intentionally lean in that direction, as opposed to being more gender-neutral/flexible (like Rhodo or Spades or even [legal name]), traditionally feminine (like Butterscotch or Magnolia), or just Something Else (like Key or one of the names I’ll talk about here in a bit). That being said, any name of mine can theoretically pull off any gender, and it’d be really funny to see a more masc-leaning one grow outfit-wrecking feminine assets. Tbh it’s pretty funny to see that on any of em…
  • Snow: Not too much to talk about here, though Snow would be a lot more cheery than Rain. I think the main “gimmick” of this name would be wanting to make sure that all of my friends are appropriately bundled up against the cold. Yes yes you must put on this jacket and these socks and those gloves. And this scarf. That sorta thing. Clothing enjoyers stay winning
  • Bitwise: This is just a really cute robot name I came up with. So, as Bitwise, I’d probably be a robot. I’ve been turned into a robot before, but I haven’t been Bitwise, just “some other name but a robot”. Maybe Bitwise’s thing would be actually acting kinda like a robot, and that only usually means actually being one. Bitwise stuck as a human would be cute too.
  • Alloy: I’m surprised I haven’t used this one before, honestly. Just hasn’t felt right yet. Alloy is the part of me that wants to be a monster. More specifically, Alloy wouldn’t want to be stuck in a human body ever, and furthermore, would much prefer to be something that doesn’t even exist, not just a real-world animal. As this name I’d love being any sort of chimeric fusion between however many creatures, or something from mythology, or even something from modern fiction. Turning Alloy into a human would probably just be kinda sad, but turning it into something inanimate would bounce right back into the “adorably and hilariously unfitting” zone that I love so much (like femme Bromine, which I discussed earlier).

Anyways, those are the ones I can remember for now. I’ve been saving them up for a long time, and I really appreciate the chance to talk about them, even if it isn’t the answer you were expecting. Thanks so much for the ask!
