social justice snowcat

Slinky and sassy, Ghostpaw is a snow leopard of many gifts; A waterfall of luxurious, white, waist-length hair, an even six feet of curvy physique, and sultry, violet eyes. But his tail is even thicker, longer, and more sensuous than these. Thick white-grey fur patterned in dense black rosettes could easily hide his figure, but instead the smooth, sumptuously trimmed fluff highlights his toned form. Waist down and from behind, Ghostpaw's curves are quite femme - long hair distracts from strong shoulders as a shapely heart of an ass supports his lush tail. From the front and abs-up, those shoulders and a beard-like tuft on his boxy chin are far more masculine. He is as much an aphrodite as an adonis - a beauty with gender signals too weak to prevent a quick, mistaken glance, but strong enough to confirm with a lingering, appreciative look.

i love how we're more than ten years into mirrorlesses being implicit video cameras, nobody even makes camcorders anymore (no, not that one either, they're all either $8000 RED/ARRI studio shit or they're fraudulent garbage), 90% of these are being sold to shoot video, and still nobody will make any concessions to the realities of the practice. no hardpoints, who needs em. just stick your third party monitor on a 1/4-20 that'll back out, put it on a ball mount that'll loosen up, and stick it in a hot shoe that wasn't designed for this. oh you bought a smallrig cage, great work. your camera is now 3x larger, and still has no hardpoints, just fucking 1/4-20s everywhere that back out if you look at them wrong. all this "rig" bullshit is like building a profession around carrying a bunch of eggs in spoons and i don't know why anyone puts up with it.

it's not the same people selling them so they don't see any of the money, and the accessories are all dog shit. i'm not saying the accessories shouldn't exist, they're pretty much unavoidable. i'm saying they shouldn't attach with tripod screws.

if I had to guess, it's artificial market segmentation. keeps pro shit at pro prices, despite being (often) the same exact hardware but with chassis improvements. like $30 worth, not $7000.

Since everyone who buys a camera for video attaches the same kinds of shit to it, why not just produce a camera that has all that shit built in? it could perhaps even sit on a person's shoulder so they could look directly down an eyepiece and be sure the camera and themselves always have the same viewpoint. much to think about
