In the fanfest that just happened, the devs explicitly addressed how they kept falling short for darker skinned characters during their graphic update segment, because there was a thread on the forums where everyone kept showing off how garbage darker lit areas were for their WoLs. Male Viera's slouch was adjusted because of complaints. Someone asked for a shorter, more masculine hairstyle for hrothgar and eventually one resembling their example sketches was implemented.
The forums are a cesspit, but the devs do pay attention to the forums.
If you've got any concerns about how the ladies appeared in the recent trailer, you've got to strike while the iron is hot! They may not make any extreme change requests, but in that same token, they're not likely to go back and adjust anything after hrothgals have been properly implemented. There's a General Improvement Thread, a thread I'm personally in strong support of, as well as a few other scattered topics here and there. Even if you don't comment, I'd strongly recommend giving any you agree with a Like to show your support!
"I'm just going to wait on modders to fix things."
Cool! By all means! Please do consider chiming in for those of us who don't use mods though. think of our futures.
