read like 5 single volume manga about Gender.
still have da cold so I mostly just read da manga
The Bride Was a Boy - a very cute autobiographical manga of a transwoman's journey to being legally recognized as a woman and getting married.
Last Gender - it is the most on the on the nose manga about gender issues ever written. The characters function more like mouthpieces for what their identity is rather than actual characters, but it's actually kind of endearing that way.
It has a similar concept of Our Dreams at Dusk but spicier, set in a sex club rather than a hole in the wall cafe (they both even have a mysterious nonbinary proprietor). It sets itself apart from other LGBT manga by not shying away from the sex part of sexuality while also not being completely tasteless (mostly). The problem is that the characters don't talk like real people so the sex parts become extremely funny. A trans character shares an intimate moment with a woman who was cheated on by her husband, and she just fucking talks about how american facebook has So Many Genders while this poor milf is bawling her eyes out. It's so good.
Boy Meets Maria - err this one's a bit weird. beautiful art, but the story is kind of unfortunate. Pro genderfluidity! But watch out, it uses an awkward transphobic trope to get that point across.
Strange Mansion - a romcom from the early 2000s featuring a trans woman, so you KNOW it's gonna be terrible.
Waltz - manipulative cis girl chaser keeps trans girl bullied by classmates so that she can have her all to herself. many of you,
I Think I Turned My Childhood Friend Into a Girl - this caused a minor stir on twitter because Seven Seas decided to localize the main character as a trans girl. Most of who complained were dipshits so any real criticism for that got drowned by concerns about Censorship.
It's just a silly little romance manga, though. Hiura looks just like me
