Ariston Sócrates

my name is Ariston Sócrates and I'm currently undertaking a bachelor's degree in philosophy at University of Campinas, in Brazil (faq: the choice to major phil was not related to my name, just a coincidence lol). I mostly like to study and discuss phil of language, epistemology and phil of film. Aside from this dull academic stuff, my interests are in film and games. Yes, this means i'm not only an isufferably cinephile but also a gamer, which I guess makes me doubly annoying. Excited to try new ways of posting around here, especially given all that [gesticulates torwards the current hellscape of social media]. Anyways, I will make a effort to post interesting philosophy stuff I come across in the form of short essays and quick notes. Oh, I'm also autistic, so I will dedicate some time to write a bit about neurodiversity as well!
