I like my Mac but I’m definitely not getting another one whenever it’s time to upgrade. The steam deck is nice but consistently it gets in the way of me playing games with my partner, and somehow also has a lot of weird blue screen issues running windows. I just gotta get a PC. Don’t let me talk myself into getting another mac

I have an affordable desktop with a 1660 Super for graphics that I basically use as a games console. My M2 MacBook Air is my daily driver.
I’m just thinking out loud, I’m not looking to upgrade any time soon. That combo would be great for me I think but I’m not in a position where I can afford to change up my entire workstation right now

Honestly, I think, in the future, if you are strictly desktop with how your workstation is set up, a Mac Mini and an affordable gaming-capable PC, with a KVM, would probably make a great combo. One keyboard, one Mouse, maybe even one display if you use a capture device to pump one into the other.
Or, heck, if you ever could afford it, an iMac and a desktop PC. Use the iMac as the monitor.
I honestly never liked Macs, even before Apple became the despotic megacorp it depicted its competitor as in the 80s. So I support your decision.
