sometimes i wonder what the expected outcome someone has for posting an anonymous message like this into a question field. like, what sort of enlightenment are they expecting. are you the only one hit with this, or has this exact same text or maybe minor variations on it been posted to a dozen other places? is this some private joke, that only the submitter has context and reason to know and care about? who know? who know???

there’s also the non-zero probability somehow through some freak accident you got sent a thing intended for someone else, but they can’t ever acknowledge that, because it was sent anonymously.
