i know it's inevitable, im just holding out until windows 10 is no longer supported and then I'll definitely make the jump. im feeling a sort of mix of dread and excitement about it, because on the one hand it'll be fun playing with a new operating system, but also im not looking forward to all the hassle of changing my workflow without clip studio paint
Latest word is CSP is working on linux! Per a post I saw the other day
Sounds like it's still a bit of A Process but these things usually only get better over time.
If you have the means, using it on a spare (old, cheap) laptop is a great way to start getting used to it without diving in head first.
i saw that, and i've tried to get it working myself! i tried it on three different distros the last time i messed with linux and each time i had a uniquely different problem that wasn't in the instructions, so i'm not too hopeful that I'll personally get it to work if im being honest
Feel free to pester me next time you give it a shot and I'll see if I can help :3
i appreciate the invitation and will absolutely pester you the next time i give it a go!
