trying to lock down the basic color palette for the next hoptix area. thought it might be fun to share where i'm at so far and see if anybunny wants to try to guess what the environment is :3
thank you for your guesses! here's the reveal on what i'm cooking up...
this is much lower res than the actual background will be, but i knew this setting was going to be a bit trickier than the others to get the colors right, so i thought it'd be worth spending today making a little color test sketch.
(also, not final. i'm thinking the city lights color should be a little more oranger. foreground might be more of a yellow -> red -> purple gradient instead of dark purple -> light purple also, not sure yet...)
