I thought this while I was playing it but I think Sonic Frontiers might have taken the spot of my favorite 3D Sonic game. Maybe just recency bias (I haven't actually played Unleashed 360 in like more than 10 years now at this point) but like damn. As flawed as it is they really wanted to make something special there and I think they did it.
