On twitter in 2010 someone could tweet things like "eating some stumfed crunst pinzza" and get 5,000 followers, but people would want to mail arsenic to their house over it, then tweets like that would get them hired to write for a bad adult comedy TV show or some pop culture website, then later would tweet an image with text saying they'd actually stolen all the tweets that lead to their being hired in the first place and never tweet again
