yeah, I hope so. I love how straight forward the Maker series game engines are and being able to transition to regular Godot if you ever want to make more complex/custom games would be really convenient given how approachable Godot is to other general purpose engines.
yeah I just saw this on twt, neat... I wonder what this means for the RPG Maker series, seeing as they /just/ got done refactoring that tool for Unity
That one seems pretty troubled; that delayed Steam launch still hasn't happened.
oh really? I hadn't paid it much mind tbh... I mean, I'd seen tons of complaints about the price & lack of legacy functionality but I figured they'd have it smoothed out by now
It looks like they've pushed a lot of the roadmap to 2025 (probably Q1 since they mentioned a large winter update), and been mostly focused on bug fixes based on the patch notes.
I've been periodically checking up on what's going, because I've been curious how the Unity fallout impacted the project.
I'll hold off on trusting that tool since they bungled unite/the unity version just so hard and I was really hyped for it
Not gonna like the $80 pricetag on what is probably going to be a Godot skin.
