the writing was on the wall with the rounds of layoffs but seeing game informer go sucks. i had a subscription in the early 2010s just to read all the big news splashes, showing off the shiniest new games. it was a wonderland as a budding PC enthusiast.
i still have my watchdogs copy. hilarious in hindsight considering the resulting game but man, they knew how to make anything exciting.
