"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." is such an excellent error message wording if your aim is to absolutely scare the shit out of 8-year-olds on a daily basis
10 year old me was very concerned about going to jail when emulators such as ZSNES or Gens crashed with this error message, until later on when I noticed some games I owned legitimately like SimAnt would crash with the same message.
