I'm already seeing a few people say things like "2025 is gonna be my year", immediately however jokingly writing off 2024 as a failure for them. That kind of reflexive memetic pessimism just can't be good for you, right?
The more you say things like that, even as a joke, the more you internally believe it, and the more likely you are to take actions which bring that into reality. If you think this year will be bad to you from day one, you probably won't want to make it be good for you. It's a cheesy cliche maxim but, believe in yourself. Even if you gotta fake it 'til you make it. This year will be good to you. It'll be good to me. I've got a cocktail of physical and mental maladies that have stacked the deck against me but I'm gonna keep trying and so should you. Don't give up.
