Honestly its gotta be one of my favourite LaTeX features how sometimes you're like "why isn't this working" and then you look it up and the answer is "oh those two macros have to be on the same line or it breaks, just comment out the newline by putting a % at the end of the first line"
It's very charming! Completely dogshit experience for people writing a document but I can't help but think about it fondly
