Unfortunately, Ceryl is overdressed. He's gonna bake.

Yet another drawing by Vesperverses, a sort-of reference and experiment with clothing.

I'm one of those dorks who stresses out about the practicality of one's look. It's not that I can't enjoy cool shit that doesn't try to make sense, it's that I cannot create things that are cool without also needing them to make some sort of sense to me.

So this was a rework of Ceryl's clothing. Taking the core elements of Lingrimm's excellent design and trying something new with it, that felt like someone who spent a lot of time outdoors adventuring. Layering, contingencies for weather, and a way to carry- at least- the bare necessities.

The whole process was incredibly cool, as Vesper and I went through several different variations, colour schemes, and tweaks to arrive at something that felt right. And then, sadly, I never really got to use this. At least, not yet. But sometime~

in reply to @ceryl's post:

oohhh i love rugged, nomadic, down-to-earth looks like this, such a nice vibe!
and yeah, outfits that not only look cool but are also made to be practical are very good! it's just so neat being able to go over a design's details (what goes where, what kinds of materials are used, etc.) and see that a lot of thought was put into it - kinda makes me feel as if i was "hearing" the artist's thoughts, y'know?
