The term "Review-Bombing" gets thrown around a lot, and its usually by people looking for an excuse to blame the negative criticism they receive on anything other than what they've done. Overwatch 2 is the latest example of being a "victim" of such an "attack," and at this point I really have to wonder if anyone actually believes if this is anywhere near as prevalent as people say it is?

The definition of a review bomb, nominally, is a brigading attack of negative reviews from a specific group of people with a special interest in mind that's only tangentially related to the thing being reviewed, in an attempt to Inflict Harm. However, the more I look into "review bombs" and see why they're happening or have happened, the more I come to the conclusion that "review bombs" are just the end result of just doing something so pig-headed and odious that a ton of people have the same visceral, negative reaction.
