ooh very cool! how did you approach this? i've been meaning to get something like this working for a programming language i'm writing. what makes some large groups flash at once vs being replaced part by part?
It's a custom animation code written for this particular puzzle, using my AoC framework: https://github.com/jarikomppa/adventofcode2021/ What flashes or not is just.. custom code, writing to a gif.
