actually you know what i don't think guide ahead arknights should get an anime adaptation because the possibility of having to deal with discourse about fiametta would be the literal worst thing in the world to me
fiametta works because she came out years into the game's lifecycle where the player is presumably used to their writing style and the writers can trust you understand how the story's tone and style works by now. they want to make you think about whether or not fiametta is justified in her actions, and want you to find meaning in the moral ambiguity of her refusal to heal from trauma and i just KNOW i'd be reading twitter posts like "stop saying fiametta is a bad person she's just traumatized" and "fiametta is a bad person and a racist"
