I've noticed trans people are on average kinkier than cis people and I think a big part is that cis people have not had to think as long or as deeply about bodily autonomy
and, relatedly, the idea of "normal"

If you've gotten through the shame and social pressure and boundaries to realize you want to transition, and then actually do it, you've already seen through the matrix to how much bullshit and empty threat the rules are based on. How much resistance do those social pressures still pose to kink? The rules are fake. Life is short. The world already thinks I'm a freak, so there's literally no reason to not do whatever freaky shit I desire.
... actually, that may be a part of the reason so many of us Autistics are kinksters too. And it's well known that a surprisingly high percentage of both the trans community and active kink community are autistic. Maybe there's a link there too.
admittedly a small and selected sample size, but my observations of cis people suggest that a lot of what would otherwise be kink manifests as private, shameful masturbation rituals.
