Well, I've never used Tumblr or anything like this before, but given everything that's happening over on Twitter I'm thinking I may just move to here and/or Mastodon pretty soon. I have the accounts set up on both, for both my main account and my dedicated music account @sounds-of-resonant-frequencies.

My main issue with moving over is the lack of use on either of these alternate platforms and just not having any base of people to follow or who might follow me, but admittedly my Twitter was already a "screaming into the void" deal anyway. The drawback is if I ever start streaming or uploading to YouTube again, fewer people will see the promotion, but... That wouldn't have been many on Twitter anyway. So... I guess this and Mastodon seem like the better options for me now. If you knew me on Twitter, feel free to follow me here and on Mastodon! I'm bad at tagging, so I'll just throw in a few relevant to me to hope people see it.
I suppose I've had this account for about... half a year now, and just haven't really used it. I should probably fix that! Especially because Twitter and Mastodon and now people moving to some other "it's the Old Twitter (that still kinda sucked) under a new name but with none of the install base" platform... It's all just kinda gotten boring to me. Same old doom and gloom, even on more curated feeds, and little to no incentive to me to post much of anything. I still like following some people on there, so I'll probably keep using those passively (at least Twitter, just because the most people I follow are there). But for posting... I'm gonna try to be a lot more active on here, and sharing my thoughts constructively instead of just stewing in despair.
So, I'm resharing my old intro post, and hopefully there'll be more from me here soon! So, what does that entail? Well, here's some of my interests!
-video games (I am still a Let's Player and streamer)
-movies/TV/anime
-music (mainly prog rock and metal)
-books if I can get the time to read
-some LGBTQIA+ stuff (proudly pan!)
-other political stuff on occasion (but like, I generally try to be positive and uplift people)
-maaaaaaybe I might be a bit more open about being a furry (or well, scalie technically)
-and some other stuff too probably
I hope you like me being a total dork, because that's probably what I'm gonna be! But heck, I'm gonna be proud of it. No more shying away from sharing my thoughts!

My Top Ten Albums of 2022 is going up there soon, with more prog rock content to follow shortly after. (I'll also share some of that with this account too, but feel free to follow both, I'll try to use them fairly often!
