Tonight, it's New Year's Eve in New York City. Crowds will gather, for whatever reason I don't really understand. The televisions will show concerts and talking heads building up to the stroke of midnight. The ball will be there to drop. Just before the year ends, people will start shouting a countdown. But then, at the moment between the "one" and "Happy New Year"...
In every car in Manhattan, someone is in the driver's seat. And at that exact moment, in sync, they all just slam on the horn as one, bringing in 2024 in true Cohost fashion.

if Dream Theater and Symphony X swapped drummers, you'd have one band where all five members have names that start with a J, and another where four of the five members are named Michael or Mike
This means nothing but it's weirdly amusing to me.
So if we were to make that hypothetical all-Mike prog metal group, who would be the singer? I feel like the main candidates would be Mike Mills (Toehider), Michael Eriksen (Circus Maximus), and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth), and all three would have a pretty wildly different approach to the band. Or heck, get all three involved, it's a wild hypothetical anyway. Make it a whole thing where all three get to sing at different points, voice different "characters" in a song, all that. All with the guitar/bass/key core of Symphony X and one of the two different DT Mikes on drums. Heck, get both of them, too, it's not like any of this will ever actually happen. And some bands have made two drummers work before, I think. And Portnoy can sing too, why the heck not. Really, this is all getting out of hand but I don't care anymore.
