this is the first time i've managed to clean out the tomb of the ancients in basically forever! it basically came down to god gifts from Okawaru granting me a really powerful crystal plate armour + demon trident that could carry me for so long that all my demonspawn mutations happened. plus i could train a Lot of fighting and armour skill to make the most survivability out of that crystal plate. Tomb was still fucking terrifying, and if i hadn't found places to fight out of view of the many many trap tiles, the enemies could and would have triggered them against me over and over and destroyed me for sure.
i'd like to keep doing more endgame stuff, but this really cleaned me out of resources... maybe it's time to scope out Zot and see what's lying around, at least.
