i'll probably craft a ranking of final fantasies as i play them. right now it's this:

i've played but haven't finished VI so i'll take another swing at it later

i didn't actually finish but i got very close. it got pretty grating after a while.... i died fighting a superboss in eureka without having saved in 5 years so i called it quits. the plot was sort of boring
