Got myself a nice pair of Bose headphones and a brand new TV. The headphones were an ease to set up and I am absolutely in love with them. They are my first pair of active noise canceling headphones and holy crap, it's awesome.
TV I'm having a bit of a battle to get it to the color preferences I like.. I'm working on it..
Many moons ago I use to have a flatmate that was really into Rifts. I played a few games here and there but what I really enjoyed was reading the source\world books.
Out of nowhere a couple of weeks ago I had this almost primal urge to read them again. So I have decided to buy a couple a month now. They threw in a TMNT supplement for free.
This game is great... Nice gameplay loop, good humor and I love underwater exploration games. Also has a damn good soundtrack..
I guess I've gotten a little rusty since I last played it, or maybe I used to rely on that artifact combo where you deal high damage then pick the green one that gains you health a little too much.
I'm enjoying the hell out of it but I'm still a little miffed that they left Risk of Rain 2 just kind of hanging in the wind on consoles.
One of these days I will break down and buy it on PC.
Update: never mind, just got my first clear. The old boy still got it! Man this game is a blast, and there are some interesting surprises as well.
