i keep thinking about trying to find one of those old kits people used to hook a selectric up and use it as a TTY in the ‘70s. it just seems like it would be nice.
not recently, actually i think some hobbyists have semi-recently, but it was very much a thing back then
ofc IBM also made the 2741 if you wanted an official version, to pay dearly for if, and devote an entire corner of yr office to it
