After all of the blogging/social media platforms ended any use of inline HTML circa 2010, the frontend dev industrial complex got busy adding increasingly unhinged CSS features to every browser.
They never imagined this power would be in the hands of the people. They thought it was safely locked away, accessible only to website admins. This is why Cohost's posting is so much more advanced than its antecedents. This website is like someone walked into a daycare and started handing out "my little tokamak" kits to the toddlers.
